City of Central City

Mayor’s Office

On behalf of your city employees and residents, welcome to Central City.

We have designed this website with the goal of informing you of the many activities and events that we offer.   If you are a new resident or business, you will find all the information needed to get settled in to one of the greatest small towns in Western Kentucky.

We are home to approximately 5800 residents and our amenities far outweigh our size.  We are proud of our Central City Convention Center, outdoor pool and spray park, Lu-Ray Park & Amphitheater, the Everly Brothers Museum and Rails to Trails.

We are a progressive city geared toward improving the quality of life for our citizens and strive toward becoming the public service minded leaders you so rightly deserve.  Central City is moving forward to become the standard community to which all others will be compared in both infrastructure and beautification with all your help and support.  Please join me in our quest to become a city, in which, you are proud to say, I’m from Central City!
